Brian Zimmerman
Zoomer, Zargon, D.J. SchnoZ, Rattikus, General Grizlick, Bozlo (voice only) and other supporting characters
Brian started his life-long love affair with puppetry at the tender age of 10. By the time he was 12 he was building his own puppets and producing his own shows for children in cancer hospitals and for birthday parties and corporate family days. At 13 he wrote his idol Jim Henson and sent him pictures of his puppets. It was the response and encouraging words Mr. Henson gave him on his puppet building skills that drove Brian to take up puppetry as a career. After several years of correspondence with Henson Associates, Brian was given an invitation to audition for the Muppet show. Due to the fact that he was also asked to produce a puppet production and tour Mainland China at the same time, he was forced to decline.
With most of his experience in live puppet productions, as well as projects he produced himself, Brian has worked for companies like Magical Puppet Creations, designing and building their puppets and performing up and down the East coast of the United States. Arascope films in Egypt, designing and building a cast of puppets for a children’s television show and The Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta Georgia, as a puppeteer and associate puppet builder.
